Around 50 cars were clamped or seized in Chesham and Amersham in ONE DAY.
Reports made to Thames Valley Police from several residents informed the authorities that the vehicles were either left or were being driven without tax.
Officers from both the Chesham & Amersham Neighbourhood Teams were supported by the NSL who were working with the DVLA to catch the untaxed cars.
Approximately 50 vehicles clamped and six were recovered as numerous fines issued were issued.
After receiving feedback from the operation, it was revealed that some car owners had ‘forgotten’ to change their registration details with the DVLA and that many are reliant on reminder letters or emails.
